How does the Pawsitive Pickup Process work?

Visit our convenient QUOTE link and select your preferred frequency of service. We will send a text notifying you of our technician’s approaching arrival. We will set up our freshly sanitized equipment and pickup where your dog left off. If you have selected our convenient yard deodorization treatment, we will then apply it. We place the waste, double bagged, in your garbage can, beside it, or in a special container if requested. We sanitize all of our equipment and depart.

Can my dogs be out while you clean our yard?

All of our technicians are dog lovers and genuinely want to meet your dog. However, often the visit can be unsettling or upsetting for your pet. They may also have territorial feelings that can lead to bites, escapes, and other anxiety-driven reactions that aren’t good for anyone. Even if this worst case scenario does not occur, dogs are playful and this can lead to us not being able to properly service the yard or at all on occasion. Due to these reasons it is our policy that the dogs are inside while we are cleaning your yard.

Is your service safe to use? Won’t my dogs get sick if you clean up other yards?

You can feel entirely safe, as we utilize kennel-grade surface disinfectants on all of our equipment and shoe covers after each service! Our disinfectant works against dangerous illnesses such as Parvo to ensure a safe visit every time.

Where does all the poop go?

We double-bag the waste and place it in your garbage can. We can also place it beside your trash can, in any specified area, or a special container. Pawsitive Pickup will be happy to provide a 5-gallon bucket for a small fee as well. If you need us to take the waste with us, there is a service fee for each haul-away provided.

We are leaving for a short period and will not require cleanups. Can we pause or cancel service?

Absolutely, you may cancel or pause at any time. We do ask that you provide us with two weeks’ advance notice.

What if the weather or another circumstance won’t allow service?

We will notify you when the weather does not permit service. In this event, we will schedule an alternative time to visit.
